Two Fellows can nominate one of our IETI Fellows as a candidate of the Annual Scientific Award. The winner will be elected by IETI Committee Board.
Note that IETI members cannot be nominated for this award. It is only desginated for IETI Fellows.
The goal of this award is to encourage world-renowned famous top researchers in various fields of research including but not limited to natural sciences, applied sciences, ecological sciences, environmental sciences, engineering, business, economics, management, architecture, arts, desgin, and social science.
This award recognizes a top researcher and Full Professor (no age limit for this award), who is also an elected IETI Fellow with innovative and excellent research contributions that have positively impacted the world.
Preference is given to top researchers who were previously receipts of famous awards such as Nobel Prize, Fields Medal, New Horizons Prizes, and many others.
How to be the award winner?
The candidate must be a top researcher in his/her field of research.
1) Scopus h-index must be more than 50; For top researchers in management and social sciences, Scopus h-index must be more than 30. If h-index is less than 30, she/he must be recommended by the presidium and published more than 100 Scopus indexed papers.
2) Join IETI for over 5 years. If membership period is less than 5 years, she/he must be recommended by the presidium and published in journals with high impact factor (natural and engineering sciences > 15; management and social sciences > 8).
3) Participated in almost all IETI activities (including conferences, journals, meetings, forums, etc.).
4) Number of published Scopus papers: Top researchers in natural and engineering sciences must have at least 100 papers, while for top researchers in management and social sciences, he/she must have at least 60 papers.
5) There are one to thee winners every year for this award. If the standards are not fully met, the one with the highest matching candidate will be elect.
